Regulation on the Draw Commission

1. Each draw of IradLoto is held before a Draw Commission of three: a representative of the Ministry of Economy, who chairs it; a notary; and a member of the public chosen by lot from a list of volunteers kept by the Enterprise. No employee of IradLoto may sit on the Commission.

2. Thirty minutes before the draw the Commission chooses by lot one of the two ball machines and one of the four ball sets, checks the seals on the cases and records their numbers.

3. The balls drawn are read aloud, shown to the camera and entered in the record in the order drawn. If a ball machine fails, the draw is restarted on the second machine with a new set; the incomplete draw is void and so recorded.

4. The record is signed by all three members and by the presenter. The result is final once it is signed. The record is kept for five years and its results are published on the IradLoto website and at the terminals.

5. Ball sets are weighed and measured every month and after any repair; a set that fails the check is withdrawn and sealed until it is replaced.
